Starting this blog was a lot harder than I had expected. Now, was it because I am clueless to what I am doing or because I am super anal? Prooooobably a little of both.
What was hard was trying to name our blog. Seriously, what's a "Z" word (catchy and witty) that goes along with Zaremba???.......
.............I'm still waiting.
So, on a notecard I wrote down a few things I wanted this blog to be centered around; family, Corbin, love, army, the lord, learning... I combinded a few and saw the acronym F.A.L.L.
This is what the Zaremba F.A.L.L. is all about:
F is for Family.
My family;
Joshua. My sweet, wonderful, hard-working, loving, caring husband. We were married on April 2, 2011. It was one of the best days of my life. Our story? Well, that'll be a different day and different post. I could go on and on.
Corbin. My whole entire world. My strength. My reason. My everything. Our little man is due to arrive on November 29, 2011. March 23, mine and Josh's lives changed forever. That day, we became parents. We looked at our lives in a whole new way and we began to better ourselves for our little bug. We are so excited, anxious, thrilled (every GOOD emotion you can think of) to meet him.
A is for Army.
Josh joined the Army in late 2010. Just 16 days after our wedding he left for Basic Combat Training (BCT) at Fort Leonard Wood for 10 weeks. I was 7 weeks pregnant. He's now in Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Sam Houston and has 32 days left. (But who's counting????) Josh has received orders for his first duty station. Our new home. Fort Campbell, KY.
L is for Love.
There is so much to love and be thankful for right now. I thank the good Lord every day for blessing me with such a wonderful life. I have a beautiful, healthy (unborn) baby boy. I have a wonderful husband and marriage. I have a loving, caring, supportive family. I have a relationship with the Lord that I have never had before. My heart is so full of LOVE. It is an amazing feeling.
L is for Learning.
Here recently, learning is all I seem to be doing. I'm learning the responsibilities of being a married adult. I'm learning (and will continue to learn) what it is to be a Mommy. I am learning the ways of the Army life and what all this journey has in store for our family. I am learning that school is no 'walk in the park', but with hard work and dedication, I CAN do it. I am learning the power of prayer. I will continue every day to learn something new.
So, this is it. This is the start of my very own blog. I don't know what each post will bring... Updates of The Zaremba's journey into parenthood, a new beginning in Kentucky, our "first's" as a family, fun days we want to share with you. Whatever it may be, I hope you enjoy. <3
Krissy
Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
Well Krissy I'd say you knocked this one out of the park! First I was just super excited you got it in motion but to read about your relationship with Jesus Christ? That is AWESOME! Another person in the "family". You're not only my cousin but now my "sister". WOW! And like all other cool blogs you've made me want to go post on mine which I think is just great! I look forward to reading about all you have coming up! Sorry if this post is a book but I'm just excited!!
